Grocery Chain Sprouts Unveils Its Own Personal Care Brand

Fast-growing retailer is rolling out Real Root by Sprouts to 400-plus stores.

Sprouts Farmers Market—one of the fastest-growing specialty retailers of natural and organic goods in the US—is rolling out its own line of body care, personal care and home fragrance products.

Headquartered in Phoenix, Sprouts operates 419 stores in 23 states. It opened five new stores in Q2.

The range, Real Root by Sprouts, includes hair care products, Epsom salt with fragrance, bar and hand soaps, body wash, bath products, deodorant and home fragrance, among other products.

The products are cruelty-free and free from parabens, phthalates, artificial fragrances, colors, skin irritants or “potentially harmful” ingredients, according to the company. Many are vegan.

“Real Root by Sprouts offers a wide range of personal care items that have been carefully crafted – from the high ingredient standards of each formula to our signature amber bottle,” said Kim Coffin, chief forager of Sprouts Farmers Market. “Real Root by Sprouts products focus on wellness, delivering a restorative experience that nurtures both inner and outer wellbeing.”
